Charter Information

The 64-foot classic motor yacht AMBROSIA was built by the Burger Boat Company in 1972.  Fresh off a refit in 2011, she is in excellent condition and is a true example of a classic American yacht.  AMBROSIA is available for two and three hour cocktail/dinner cruises, half and full-day as well as weekly charters based out of Norwalk, CT.  AMBROSIA was re-powered in the 1990s with 540 hp CAT diesels, allowing her to cruise at 17 knots and giving her a wider range than most vessels of her vintage -- ideal for New England charters. She can accommodate five overnight guests in two comfortable, updated staterooms, with a capacity for twelve guests for day charters or cocktail and dinner cruises, and twenty five guests while dockside.

Amenities – Flat screen TV/DVD in all cabins, satellite TV in salon w/DVD and Bose surround sound stereo/CD with iPod port; spacious foredeck with sun lounge, large aft deck with alfresco dining, freshly refit interior with spacious salon. 12 ft tender with 25 hp motor.

Accommodation

AMBROSIA has recently completed a total refit, combining modern amenities and updates with her original classic features including beautiful mahogany interior cabinetry, trim and teak floors.  AMBROSIA’s layout and ample deck space make her ideal for both entertaining and quiet relaxation. The large, enclosed aft deck with wet bar has both port and starboard access to the equally spacious foredeck with teak deck chairs, built-in bow cushions and huge sun lounge. On the same level is the pilothouse with large bench seat and 360 degree views. Down and forward is the newly re-furbished, well lit salon with large windows to the port and starboard, sofa and easy chairs, and HDTV/entertainment system.

Aft and a few more steps down from the salon is the day/guest head as well as the two staterooms. The master stateroom features an en-suite bathroom and a walk-around queen size bed. The guest stateroom can accommodate up to three guests with its two single berths and Pullman berth. Forward and down from the salon is a totally refinished galley with new stainless steel appliances. Finally the crew quarters is located forward of the galley with separate entrance through the bow for guest privacy.

Rates- $2,500 per day; $11,500 per week, plus all standard expenses. Member rates and Yacht & Resort excursion offerings available. Member Five Day Seasonal - $7,500;  Member Ten Day Seasonal - $14,500.
